Norwegian sterling silver and gilt Plique a Jour spoons Johan G Kjaerland
A cased set of vintage Norwegian sterling silver and gilt Plique-A-Jour spoons by Johan G Kjaerland of Bergen, Norway. The Plique a Jour is secured by a twisted wire frame with fine silver gilt cloisons encasing the multi-colour enamels. The twisted wire handle terminating at the demmi sized gilt silver bowls with the "JGK" 925S stamped to the lower rear of handle.
Condition : two spoons have a small flake to the lower yellow cell area within the reserve. Both cells are intact. Overall, vg+ condition with only very little use, if any. The case is a replacement though will provide a safe home for future storage. Numerous enlarged images have been provided in the gallery, please refer for full reference.
