A 20th C revival enamel box produced in the traditional 18th C Bilston and Battersea manner.
A round Halcyon Days Enamels year box Christmas 1976, the lid decorated with a figural scene, a shop with Christmas gifts and a black cat exploring the surroundings on the snow capped roof top. The interior decorated with monochrome Christmas gifts and bow. The red exterior body and base marked with Christmas 1976 and the early HD Bilston and Battersea Enamels backstamp, the hinged lid with gilt plated mounts. The enamel box is in good condition and includes the original packaging box and brochure. Approx 4.3cm l x 2.8cm h.
