Antique Copper & Silver vase with script and textured infill panels
An Antique 19th C to early 20th C Cairoware Copper & Silver vase decorated with various silver bordered panels, including script and textured infill segments using traditioal punches and graving tools. The vase has some narrow vertical scratches down both sides which may have been added during the manufacturing of the vase as the original patina appears to cover them. Considering age this vase is good condition, the interior has not been touched and shows dust and vertigree consistant with age. The exterior patina wear is fairly light with the rich brown/copper tone highlighting the silver borders. Some surface sections of the silver borders have tarnished and has been left as is to protect the existing patina. Approx 28cm h x 10.7 cm at shoulder, 10.5cm to base and 7.5cm ot top. Net weight approx 812gm
