A 20th C revival enamel box produced in the traditional 18th C Bilston and Battersea manner.
A rounded shape Halcyon Days Enamels box, the gilt mounted hinged lid decorated with three songbirds perched in a tree, the side continuously decorated with smaller birds and single flowers above a mottled blue base border and narrow continuous flower with leaf decoration. The base is marked with the Halcyon Days 1980- backstamp and the cream/white interior with a simple black and white reserve and words Siskin Bullfinch Nuthatch. In good condition approx 4.3cm x 2.8cm h
