A 20th C revival enamel box produced in the traditional 18th C Bilston and Battersea manner.
A round shape Halcyon Days Enamels box with a hinged lid and gilt mounts, the lid decorated with a spray of colourful flowers in a central reserve, the borders with intricate gilt patterns that flows around the sides to the cream coloured base and Halcyon Days backstamp. The sides with a further 3 oval panels also containing flowers with gilt borders The interior marked with the words "Design inspired by the decoration on the Sevres porcelain dinner service presented by Louis XV to Prince Starhemburg the Austrian Ambassador in 1766.
