Bilston and Battersea 20th C revival Oriental inspired oval box 1980-
A 20th C revival enamel box produced in the traditional 18th C Bilston and Battersea manner.
An oval shaped Halcyon Days Enamels box, the bronzed hinged lid decorated with four Oriental inspired exotic birds perched in a tree on a green lid and body, the side with similar decoration and a simulated lower bamboo border. The base marked with the Halcyon Days 1980- backstamp and the cream/white interior with a simple black and white perched songbird. In good condition including original box and HD brochure. Approx 5.3cm l x 3.5cm w and 2.6cm h

Halcyon Days Enamels holds multiple Royal Warrants.
