Bilston and Battersea 20th C revival box AU Historic LTD ed Exp Farm 4.8cm
A 20th C revival enamel box produced in the traditional 18th C Bilston and Battersea manner.
An oval Halcyon Days Enamels box from the Australian Historic series 1970-79, the monochrome lid decorated with Experiment Farm Cottage. The interior with text Experiment Farm Cottage Parramatta NSW circa 1800. The pink exterior body and base marked with early HD Bilston and Battersea Enamels backstamp, the hinged lid with gilt plated mounts. This box is a LTD Ed and hand numbered 86/250 is in good condition with a numbered certificate and brochure. It includes the original Halcyon Days packaging box with numerous scattered exterior marks/stains/imperfections else is in generally good order. (refer to photo/s). Approx 4.8cm l x 4cm w x 2.4cm h.

Halcyon Days Enamels are crafted from the result of many complex processes (item is handled between 50-100 times for various processes) including 3 layers of enamel, gilded or bronzed plated brass mounts, ceramic transfer lithographs and many are finished with hand painted accents in various colours, some requiring additional extra firings ensuring a unique individual item with an original Halcyon Days design. Halcyon Days Enamels holds multiple Royal Warrants.
